Miles Halpern - My paintings are a tool for my study of the metaphysics of identity through the unreal. Like comedian Woody Allen or rapper Eminem may poke fun at inadequacies and injustice, I address them openly rather than hide from it by use of theatricality, self-parody and satire as my vehicle and communicator.
