"First Friday" Reception November 6th, 5-9PM
Sue Reno is a fiber artist who draws inspiration from her surroundings in beautiful Lancaster County, PA. Her current work focuses on landscape images and botanical subjects, using plants from her extensive organic garden. She employs surface design techniques including cyanotypes, heliographic prints, and image transfers as the basis for works that also incorporate unusual and hand painted fabrics, hand and machine stitching, and beadwork. Her award winning work has been juried into numerous national and international exhibits and shows. She has been featured in an episode of “Simply Quilts”, shown on HGTV, and in Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine.
Sue Reno’s work will be on exhibit at Isadore Gallery, 228 N. Prince Street in Lancaster, from November 5 through 28. Normal gallery hours are Thursdays and Fridays from 10-6, Saturdays from 10-5, and by appointment call 717-299-0127. The artist will be present at the First Friday Reception on November 6 from 5 to 9 PM.
